PhoneGate Alert reports: Five more smartphones have been withdrawn from the French market. Four models (Doogee N55 Plus, Infinix Smart 9, AGM Note N1 and Nothing Phone (3a)) exceeded regulatory limb SAR limits, with values up to 4.85 W/kg, while a grey-import variant of the Samsung Galaxy A55 was pulled for serious regulatory failings. The decisions by the French frequency agency ANFR bring the total to 71 phones and tablets withdrawn, recalled or updated in France since 2018. The NGO highlights that consumers were only informed on 30 July 2026, ten to twelve months after the non-compliance tests were carried out in 2025.
