🇮🇹 ICNIRP and ICOH Workshop on Occupational NIR Exposure in Medicine Draws 100 Participants from 20 Countries
ICNIRP and the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) co-organized a workshop on occupational exposure to non-ionizing radiation in medical settings, held on 20 May 2026 in Modena, Italy. Around 100 participants from approximately 20 countries discussed topics including MRI safety and optical radiation standards.
"As medical NIR technologies are already widely used and continue to expand across healthcare applications, raising awareness and strengthening understanding of occupational exposure is becoming increasingly important."
