🐀 Moringa leaf extract protected rat testes against 4G phone radiation, small mechanistic study finds

Exposure note: Real-world 4G signals from an off-the-shelf smartphone (manufacturer whole-body SAR spec 1.6 W/kg, a regulatory ceiling, not the rats' absorbed dose). Average field inside the cage measured at 187.9 mW/m², roughly 50× below the ICNIRP general-public reference level of ~10 W/m² at these frequencies. ICNIRP limits are set to prevent tissue heating >1 °C; at this power density, whole-body heating is expected to be negligible, though the authors did not measure scrotal temperature, a relevant gap since testes are heat-sensitive. The paper doesn't name the specific 4G band, and the smartphone hung from the ceiling into the middle of the cage while rats moved freely.
