FCC files court-ordered response on its five-year delay in the 2021 RF exposure limits case

Environmental Health Trust reports: The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filed its response on September 25 to a court order of August 26 requiring it to explain why it has not complied with the 2021 remand in Environmental Health Trust v. FCC. EHT, the nonprofit that won that case, says the FCC calls its five-year delay unavoidable and its conduct good faith, a position EHT disputes. On September 17 the FCC opened a comment round on the remanded issues: non-cancer health effects, effects on children, long-term exposure, device testing procedures and environmental effects. The 1996 RF exposure limits remain in force, and EHT's mandamus petition is still undecided before the court.
