Broadband Breakfast reports that wireless data use in the United States increased 20 percent year-over-year in 2025, according to a new survey from the mobile industry group CTIA. The growth rate compares with a 32 percent increase in 2024 and 35 percent in 2023. In total, Americans used 159.3 trillion megabytes of wireless data in 2025.
