Over 700 Norwegian doctors back an 18-year age limit on smartphones
Dagens Medisin, relaying Klassekampen, reports that more than 700 doctors signed a support appeal within a day, backing a call by Norwegian psychologists for an 18-year age limit on smartphones. The appeal was posted by senior consultant Charlotte Lunde and public health clinic physician Mille Råholt Løland, and follows a similar appeal signed by 550 psychologists. Lunde argues that screen use contributes to a new public health problem and calls for clearer measures from the authorities.
