A Wistar-rat study in the Jundishapur Journal of Natural Pharmaceutical Products reports that 8 weeks of daily 2.45 GHz Wi-Fi exposure (SAR โ 0.9 W/kg, 7 h/day) significantly raised malondialdehyde in testes and kidneys, cut antioxidant enzyme activity, and reduced sperm count, motility and testosterone. Histopathology showed changes in the seminiferous tubules and renal tissue.
Animals given oral coenzyme Q10 (150 mg/kg/day) alongside Wi-Fi exposure showed partial restoration of antioxidant enzyme activities and attenuated oxidative stress compared with the Wi-Fi-only group. CoQ10 supplementation alone reduced MDA and increased antioxidant enzyme activity above baseline.
