In 2026, Electromagnetism and Life (Elektromagnetismen og livet) by the late Norwegian physician Vilhelm Schjelderup has been re-issued — the book was first published in 1986 and lightly updated in 2006. It presents research on electricity and magnetism as environmental factors that may significantly affect human health. According to the publisher, Schjelderup was for many years scientific adviser to Terra Control AS, a firm measuring electric and magnetic fields from power lines, transformer stations and other sources, and the firm decided to re-publish the book after a 2024 visit to a research institute in Kyiv. The book is currently available only in Norwegian.
