NTP β€” Original Cell Phone Study

Completed 2018

The U.S. National Toxicology Program's $30M+ study exposed rats and mice to 2G/3G cell phone radiation. Found "clear evidence" of cancer (heart schwannomas) in male rats. Largest and most comprehensive RF-animal study ever conducted.

Duration

Japan-Korea NTP Partial Replication

Results Published Jan 2026

Collaborative study to partially replicate NTP findings. Both Japanese and Korean teams exposed male Sprague-Dawley rats to 900 MHz RF-EMF. Result: No statistically significant changes in tumor incidence or survival rates. No reproducible carcinogenic or genotoxic effects found.
