Dr. Joel Moskowitz highlights a new study finding that people living within 60m of mobile phone base stations show significant changes in white blood cell parameters. Over half of heavy phone users under 30 had lymphocyte counts above clinical limits.
"Such changes are indicative of persistent stress occurring to human biological systems. These results should not be disregarded and must be considered as an important public health concern."
"Almost a quarter of those with high MPBS exposures had basophil counts above the clinical reference limits, while over half of those with heavy daily mobile phone use (4 to 6 hours) had lymphocyte counts above the limits."
