Environmental Health Trust (EHT), a US advocacy and research organization, welcomes the Request for Information on potential health effects of electromagnetic fields and wireless radiation issued by the US Department of Health and Human Services on September 17. EHT president and general counsel Joseph Sandri says the RFI brings a gold standard science format to reviewing the issues, and that it will help the FCC, FDA and other institutions respond to EHT's petition that the FCC comply with the 2021 court mandate in EHT et al v FCC. The statement calls the RFI a golden opportunity for the US telecommunications industry to establish leadership in risk management.
